Dorina Maria Harangus was born in Romania in 1970.
İn 1996 she graduated from Babeş-Balyai University, the Faculty of Theater and Television, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Between 1996 -1997, she worked as an actress at Dramatic Theater Brasov. Between 1997-2006, she worked as an actress in Youth People’s Theater-Piatra Neamt where she met some of the most important directors from Romania and some directors from abroad. During the time she had a collaboration with other theatres from Romania and with independent stages. She has experience in contemporary theatre as well as in classical, musical and puppetry. During her carrier, she has performed in more than 35 plays, written and directed original theatre projects. Between 2007 and 2015, she lived in İstanbul where she developed independent projects. Since 2015, she has lived in Germany.
She speaks Romanian as a mother tongue, fluently English and, Turkish.

Directed and performed interactive theatre show with children for children, Taramul Celalalt (The Other Land) in the Romanian language with the group Tetrolici in Metzingen, Germany.
Coordinated the workshops in the second year of the Theatre Course for Children in the Romanian Language, Teatrolici.
Conducted intercultural theatre workshops with children in Metzingen, Germany, a project by Familienzentrum and Rathaus Metzingen.
Co-directed the musical Schwein gehabt! in Grundschule Hechingen, Germany.
Participated in the experimental project of open source performance Flipbook IV- Midsummer Night Dream in Mallorca, Spain.

Directed and performed in APOLODOR, an interactive theatre performance played by children for children with the group Teatrolici
Established Teatrolici, a theatre group for Romanian children living in Germany. MedienAkademie, Metzingen Germany, backed by a theatre course in the Romanian language.
Coordinated Dance Theatre Project - after-school project in Grundschule Hechingen.
Initiated and coordinated the mail-art project and street performance Postcard to a Stranger.
